Long Island has a wide variety of songbirds, some of which are the most beautiful to see and hear. Using photos and recordings, Dianne Taggart, author and long-time birder, will discuss the songbirds that call Long Island their home.

Alicia Whitaker, Master Gardener and Chair of Horticulture for the Westhampton Garden Club will discuss annuals, vines and native perennials that can provide sustenance as well as beauty for pollinators that can be planted in containers for decks

Help us maintain the Library garden by trimming, weeding, and learning all about the plants we grow right in our own backyard. Please dress for the weather.

Marie Camenares will discuss management practices for successful landscaping such as properly selecting material for the right sites, installing and maintaining ornamental native plants, fertilization, grasses, lawn care, proper pruning and more.
