Event Details
In the late 1800s and early 1900s, “The New Women” started riding bicycles and motorcycles and could for the first time venture out without a male chaperon.
Join East End Libraries for a discussion about how these new activities necessitated a change in women’s lifestyles and dress, and how the bicycle helped pave the way for women’s rights.
Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants 24 hours prior to event.
