Jane Ferguson, author of the national bestseller No Ordinary Assignment will join Quogue’s Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist Nicholas Confessore in conversation.

Jane Ferguson is a Polk, Emmy, Peabody, OPCA, and DuPont award-winning foreign correspondent for PBS NewsHour, a contributor to The New Yorker, and McGraw Professor of journalism at Princeton University. Based in NYC, she spent over thirteen years living and reporting in the Middle East, the Arab world, Africa, and South Asia. She focuses on US foreign policy and defense, conflict, diplomacy, and human rights. Her acclaimed memoir, No Ordinary Assignment was published in 2023.

Nicholas Confessore is a New York-based political and investigative reporter at The New York Times, a staff writer at The New York Times Magazine, and a contributor to MSNBC. He covers American politics, government, the tech industry, cable news, and tax evasion by the ultrawealthy. He was part of a team of reporters whose coverage of the downfall of Governor Eliot Spitzer won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news reporting.

Author conversation begins at 5:00 PM followed by a Q&A and a reception with book sales and signing. $10 per person includes a wine and cheese reception.
