Genevieve Sly Crane concludes the Summer Author Series with guest Vanessa Cuti, author of The Tip Line.

Hailed as an exceptional debut, The Tip Line is an unsettling thriller that reimagines the Gilgo Beach Murders. Vanessa Cuti's fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories 2021, The Kenyon Review, AGNI, West Branch, Indiana Review, Cimarron Review, The Cincinnati Review, Shenandoah, The Rumpus and others. She received her MFA from Stony Brook University.

Crane won the Whiting Award in 2020 for her first book Sorority, about the dark side of sisterhood. She currently teaches in the Creative Writing and Literature BFA program at Stony Brook University.

Author conversation begins at 5:00 PM followed by a Q&A and a reception with book sales and signing. $10 per person includes a wine and cheese reception.
