This year is the 200 th Anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, the visionary, conceptual and pragmatic force behind the movement to establish public gardens, landscapes, and parks in our country.
As part of the celebrations, Quiogue resident, Anne Moore Hutton, will be curating a display on Olmsted and his achievements on the wall across from the Shinnecock Room which will be up from July 8-August 9 and presenting a talk entitled, ”Celebrating the Legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted” on Sunday, July 10 from 3:00-4:00 pm.
