Megan Abbott’s eleventh novel, Beware the Woman, heralded as one of the most anticipated books of 2023, is an eerie and prescient story about a family outing that takes a terrifying turn. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Salon, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, and The Believer.
