Event Details

The story is about five men who were forced to box for the entertainment of SS guards in Nazi concentrations camps. The other sections of the book deal with two men who escaped from Auschwitz and alerted the world to the terrors being committed, and a group of men and women who formed an underground army that killed more than 1,500 Nazi war criminals. The book has been praised by historians at various colleges and universities as well as by directors at Holocaust museums.
