East Quogue School: KID ART Inspired by VEGETABLES & PLANTS!

On display February 21st - April 3rd

Vegetables and plants using mixed media...Paint, paper scraps, fabric, buttons, etc... Inspired by the artwork of artist Lina Puerta, whose work focuses on indigenous farming practices and the differences between man made food and food grown from the Earth, since we live in an area with so many farms and the students in East Quogue have a garden at the school that they work together to maintain and grow vegetables in.
