Lana Ballot is a professional artist and pastel painting instructor. Her exhibition: "Coastal Stories" will be on view at the Quogue Library September 9th - October 13th.

Lana will demonstrate the Wet Underpainting Technique where combining the application of dry pastels with an initial wash allows her to create rich nuanced color and the effect of beautiful translucency of the water.
